My room

Have you lookd into Synergy? Could save you teh hassle of using two mice/keyboards

For a laptop and a desktop? No I haven't heard of it, thanks for the tip. Could be very useful indeed.

Use Input Director instead (free, Windows-only). I used to use Synergy and that was really unreliable. ID on the other hand is rock solid and has a nice GUI. Use it everyday for the work laptop / home desktop (work at home).

Rofl @ "Really Old", how did we ever get by with monitors that small? A few months back my 22's backlight died. While RMAing it I used an old 14 or 15" LCD I have laying around and it was absolutely awful. Despite my RMA taking a couple weeks I didn't get used to the thing even a little bit, and I even gave it a name - Stamp.

It sounds like you are running Windows 7 beta. The Release Candidate of Windows 7 (which is free to download) doesn't expire until June 1st 2010.

That is a 17" that is now on my kids computer, and, yes, it does look small.

I had some people over for New Years two years ago when I was using the 17" and some of the guys went into my office to look at something. I decided right then to get a new monitor when one guy said,

"That is the smallest monitor I have ever seen!"

LOL.
