It really depends on what you're training for. 25 reps is a hell of a lot of reps to do for anything.

~2 mins is a good start. Depending on your body type and fitness level you'll want to eventually start cutting the time you're resting as you get in better shape. Push-ups are a great exercise, but don't neglect your back (lats). It's easy to get injured if you're totally out of balance with pushing and pulling muscles.
For a good superset, do your 25 press ups immediately followed by 25 reps of bent over barbell or dumbell rows. Obviously stick to a fairly light weight to start. You'll be damn tired after 50 reps.
