Im just curious, since there are a lot of toxic chemicals and substances found in todays computer parts, things like lead from the solder.. im wondering if there have been studies that show high exposure to computers can cause cancer..... Im pretty sure its not good to breath in the smoke comming from a pile of burning motherboards and memory modules.

the lead is in the moniter....so the radaition doesn't get you

I don't think so...

Even if PC usage was harmful, we'd never know......think of all the suits/medical claims that would be filed if computer use and cancer were linked.

They made a big deal over cell phones emitting radiation causing brain cancer.

Why not PCs?

hmm magomago said the lead in monitors is there to shield you from radiation. so does that mean if my monitor is MUCH LIGHTER than most, it does have very good shielding? :Q
