It really, really varies.

Some days I'll eat out ($15), sometimes twice ($30). Other days I don't eat anything at all ($0). I never bring food to work though, and I rarely eat any meals during my work day.

For some reason my stomach doesn't send hungry signals to my brain the right way. I can go days without eating and not get hungry, and some days I'll be hungry two or three times per day.

never eat dinner at work, but i live literally blocks away from home so i lunch at home. usually i reheat soup from the night before, and/or fix a sandwich with nice fixings (premium/organic ingredients). i never done the calculation but should come out to about 3$ for a delicious sandwich. i eat at the cafeteria about 1.5 times a week for various reasons.. quite good, and cost a bit under 10$.

for the entire last month ive been comping 60$ for dinner Every single night but thats a different story :D. i try to eat at home a.m.a.p, though.. its a huge savings

Breakfast is usually pretty cheap: Protien shake and oatmeal, or a shake and a bowl of cereal. $1.00 by volume or less.

Mid morning snack is usually a a cup of yogurt: $.50

Lunch is usually:
home made salad: $1.50 worth of ingredients
microwave meal of varying sorts: $2.00-$3.00
snack bag of "baked" chips: $.25 when bought in bulk at Sam's

Late afternoon snack is a Protein bar that is around $1.00
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Under $7.00 for the day. I can count on one hand the number of times I've gone out for lunch at work the last 6 months. It's just not something I do. It costs a lot more money, is a lot less healthy, and adds an extra hour a day that I have to work.

I usually cram lunch down while at my desk and skip a true lunch break. I'm able to get home to my family sooner and have more free time in the afternoons.

Too much. I usually spend anywhere from $6-9 a day, that really adds up. I work in two different cities during the week (three days in one, two in the another), usually I hit this sandwich place in one city that lets you make your own sandwich. You really have to watch it because they charge by weight, and you can easily build yourself a $8 sandwich.

good call on the home made salad ^. i fix chicken caesar salad because theyre sooo easy to make, taste great, unbelievably healthy, and have protein-rich chicken. you can cook a few breasts over the weekend, chop them off, and serve them cold with the caesar salad. takes no more than a few minutes

My spouse brings leftovers (I make a bit extra for dinner most nights, a lot extra if it's something he likes for lunch) that he grabs from the freezer, along with a can/bottle of pop (usually Coke Zero) and maybe an apple or banana. He has some snacks in his desk, like fruit cups or fig newtons, for when he wants something to snack on so he doesn't go down to the cafeteria and buy junk. His lunches run anywhere from 1-3 dollars, max, typically.

Pretty much.

I'll grill up some chicken or tuna for dinner and then toss on an extra one for salads through the week. I buy the big tubs of field greens from Sam's and toss in the chicken, some broccolli, bannana peppers, and roasted almonds. Good stuff.

Lately I've been tearing up a handful of turkey pepperoni and using that in my salads. 8 turkey pepperoni are only like 40 calories and add a nice little zing to it.
