The Netherlands. We only have ONE gym in a 50 km radius, and they charge ~?60/month. But I wouldn't even be able to afford ?30 :p.

EDIT: 15 was just an example, don't get your panties in a wad.

Wow, that sucks. Do they have yard sales out there? Yard sale weight sets are dirt cheap.

Generally, no. A little while ago, the only shop selling those went broke and had a huge sale. People bought a lot but nobody seems willing to sell.

You are in a pickle, aren't you?

Well, the best I can say is find that body weight exercise plan someone posted and try it.

 what's pathetic is you have to insult someone seeking help.

Most are just pretenders...

Vegitto since you can only afoord to do pushups, just go to failure, rest 5 minutes, then go to failure, then rest 5 minutes and go again.

Well, he said he can do 40 to failure. So what about one armed push ups to failure with long breaks in between sets?

You're welcome!

I know it's possible to improvise. They have taken weight rooms out of a lot of prisons, yet many of the guys still manage to keep on some respectable bulk. So I know it's possible without a weight set.

Well, I'm not looking for a prison-look.. :p I've got a bit of strength, a bit of stamina, but I look like someone that sits in front of a computer all day (and I do :p)..

LOL, "prison look." :)

Anyhow, there is a lot of info on body weight exercise plans on the web. Your best bet is to look for the one you like, and try it.

Don't focus so much on # of repetitions. The key is intensity, nutrition and recovery. Do compound muscle exercises with enough weight that you can't complete the last repetition. Something like 4-8 repetitions, whatever works.

Immediately after your workout, you want to spike your insulin with very simple carbs (about 2/3 in grams) and some high quality whey (1/3 grams).
