No, dont get everybody at the gym sick. Gyms are already pretty dirty on their own, germs spread very quickly in this setting.

Sleep, Drink plenty of fluids, eat good nutritious food.

If anything, just go for a 2-mile walk, bike ride, or medium paced jog. Stay off the weights, especially heavy lifting... it will only make it worse.

Doesn't sound like you are that sick. When I have a mild head cold I will lift weights. But, cardio really bothers me when I have a sore throat. Not like I ever do cardio anyway.

I would work out but if you are contagious with something, I'd work out at home. Don't go somewhere that you can get more people sick...

I have had three (3) fscking colds in 3 months this year because people can't keep their snotty asses at home when they're sick.

Also, exercise temporarily lowers the immune system (yes, over time it makes it stronger but your immunity is lower right after).

Finally, I'm an avid exerciser and you couldn't drag me to the gym when I'm sick. I respect other people and my own body too much for that.

You don't like peope hacking and wheezing all over the gym equipment?

I didn't end up going to the gym, and I'm going to wait one more day before I return. I woke up this morning after feeling much better - my sinuses cleared up, and I can breathe again. Hallelujah!

Nah, if I'm sick then I'll wait 'til I'm better.

a) I don't want to get everyone else sick
b) It won't do any good because the body will exhaust its energy and immune system trying to both battle a sickness and repair itself at the same time. In the end you'll wind up being sicker for longer, and probably losing out on any benefits of trying to work out in the first place.

If you feel well enough to work out I don't see how you can be sick. If you don't feel well, yet still want to work out, maybe you have some psychological problems.

Ugh, do some lunges at home if you want to exercise, but don't go to the gym. You will just spread germs all over the place and make other people sick.

Definitely go to sick when I'm work. Who would want to waste a sick day when you're sick?!
