Working on an eMachines is FRUSTRATING

I am doing some PC work for a lady. its an eMashit, i mean emachines.

The drivers I got from emachines website were in a weird format and didnt work correctly.

I have the video because its just nvidia 6100.

I need drivers for an emachines W3115 with a K8MCG51G motherboard (the drivers from the FIC website are borked as well)
 
haha FIC, they are still in business? For drivers, I usually check some driver sites like driverguide.com or just google. Would've done a search but can't remember the generic login for driveguide.com anymore.
 
I had to rebuild a e-mach a few weeks ago as well for a friend... I found that getting the chipset info from the board and then getting the maufacturers drivers was the easiest approach..

I got lucky as a generic Via chipset driver set took care of the needed drivers.
