Working for someone else

Say person A has a job and for 3 months out of the year lets her son work for her (under her name). Person A pays all the job's taxes. Is person's A 3 month income untaxed? Does he need to report that income?

As far as the numbers go its still person A making the income, and thus taxed.

I just want to reassure myself. It would be double taxation if person A's son has to pay taxes for that 3 month income as well.
