Working for a big company SUCKS.

Four weeks ago my contract had a shift bid, and I chose a new shift/days off.
Great.
Not a big deal, that would make for the 2nd shift change since I started working here.

Now, only 3 weeks later... I was just informed that my shift is being changed to start 2 hours earlier, for only 2 weeks!
Then back to my old shift again, and who knows for how long!

What can I do about it? (besides quit...) ... Sweet fvck all! :disgust:

Just slack off.

Yall who don't have jobs. You do what you gotta do, even if it means taking a job no where NEAR your career path.

You have a job. 'nuff said

I was waiting for that. To people without a job, thats your problem, not mine. I couldn't care - so piss off.

This place is a corperate sweatshop, pardon me if I don't feel overly greatful to be employed here.

I think this guy needs to taste unemployment for a while... especially with a family depending on your income. :|

You obviously care enough to make an effort to post here, don't you?
Allow me to reiterate: piss off.

If you don't like your job, quit? What is stopping you?

Damn. Just cause you folks are bitter since you're unemployed doesn't take his right to be disgruntled about his job away. Lighten up and realize the world doesn't revolve around you, if you can manage to do so.

Angrymarshmello, Syringer, Spac3d:

So, you're saying you'd be perfectly happy with this situation had it happened to you?
You wouldn't be upset whatsoever, because, you're happy you've got a job?

I work for the largest corporation in the world without a union so I'm just another easily replaceable number.

They way the job market is, I would be happy to have a job and getting the hours I need to pay bills.

You can ask your boss to help you out, or you can quit.

I can understand why you don't feel particularly grateful to work for a big corporation.

I say start looking for greener pastures, and if you have any kind of "go to hell" fund saved up, you might as well put in your notice. Your two day notice.

Just quit and find a new job then.

Why would I quit? Where did I imply that I wanted to quit?
I like my job. Considering my age and education, I'm doing alright.
That doesn't mean I'm supposed to like everything about it. People are ALLOWED to be unhappy with their job.
I'm happy to have this job considering the alternatives available, but that doesn't mean I'm automatically going to smile and nod when they ask me to bend over.

Not everything evolves around the job market. You can find work if you look hard enough.

Anyone complaining they can't get a job, or they don't have a job, hasn't gotten off their fat lazy ass.

Funny, I can't stand working for a SMALL company (8 employees). I guess the grass is always greener. But, I did enjoy working for a company with only 300 employees Ahhhhhh, that was the LIFE!
