Worker Thread Returned at Bad IRQL on CD insert!

This problem has been happening with me for almost over a year. I get a Worker Thread Returned at Bad IRQL blue screen whenever the computer tries to access my CD-RW drive.

It doesn't always happen, but about 80% of the time. It can happen when:
- the computer checks if there's a CD in the drive
- I insert a CD in the drive
- the CD is being read or written to

I have already tried:
- different IDE cables
- different BIOS settings
- the PIO and DMA modes

... but to no avail. The computer still gives me the same BSOD. My DVD drive doesn't give me this error no matter how much I use it.
