Chicago is pretty cool and has great museums, and you don't have to worry about the crappy weather that time of the year. SF is overrated and expensive, but still has lots of cool stuff. Seattle doesn't have amazing mass transit, but it's not too bad, and you can even take the ferries to do some day-tripping, which is awesome.

Really the appeal of Seattle is the surroundings, not the city...you go there to hike, bike, kayak, and climb.

I'd say Chicago, DC, or SF. I almost went with SF right away since its awesome but I feel like DC might be a bit more walkable when it comes to touristy things.

Dallas is out if you don't have a car. They do have DART but it is not as good as DC Metro.

Voted Seattle. It's cool town to visit. Pretty laid back, you can check out Pike's Place, visit the Space Needle. Visit Bruce Lee's grave. :);
