An incident happened a few days ago where I was working along with another co-worker. A situation happened with the customers where I was threatened (getting my ass kicked) and I told my other co-worker about it and he had their phone number and called them and said "don't do business here again you stupid black asses"

My boss gets a hold of this information and according to those customers (kids) told him I called them the N word and supposedly I dropped a note off at their door. Now everyone in the store has their address and anyone could have done it. I don't even think anyone did it.

I did not call anyone an N word.

My boss is accusing me of doing it and he is putting me in a very awkward work environment. He has no right to accuse me of doing anything if he was not there at the time. He is supposed to be my manager and instead he is accusing me of it and he is cutting back my work hours and giving me a serious attitude.

The other person involved in this incident is not being harassed or questioned because he is the boss?s favorite.

For my boss to call me a racist is very wrong and I was wondering if I can do anything about it. He was not there to question wether or not I said it or not.

My boss is white. He's called people the N word before behind their back.. the problem is ->

He is trying to point the blame on someone because his supervisor is up his ass about it. He is also white. He didn't question me.

The lady is threatening the store with a lawsuit and my manager is being a bad manager by not sticking by his employee.

The lady who is threatening is their mother who was not even there at the time and is telling my manager what happened. Their word vs mine. My manager should stick by my side, but he is not.

Nobody is telling me what to do.

Should I call the corporate number? Should I talk to someone high up? Should I go straight to a lawyer?

What should I do?

-Im not trying to get anyone fired

If it was your co-worker who called them with the message then you have no problem.
Unfortunately in some states you can be fired for little or no reason without recourse. Even just because a co-worker or manager doesn't like you. If your co-worker and manager are both willing to lie in regard to this matter you're pretty much screwed. So if they fire you enjoy your unemployment benefits and the knowledge that they will one day be basking in a very warm retirement. Oh and BTW, if you have to hire a lawyer for something, you've already lost.

There is nothing you can do.

This won't be the last time you're wrongfully accused of something.

-edit-

accept of course unless your black. Then you're golden.
