work people: How many emails do you receive/send a day?

none of it is spam.

well, ok, maybe ~10 spam emails/day on my work inbox.

most of it is either company-wide stuff or automatically generated status emails (which don't really matter unless we get a flood of failures; personally, I'd just as soon not send out status emails *unless* it's a failure, but it's not my call to make). I've got a bunch of filters setup to drop it all into appropriate folders.

I get maybe ~100 emails/day that I legitimately have to read... my department operates 24/7 out of multiple offices around the globe; most departmental communication is done via email.

Ok so I went through my list in the last 7 months(not including probably 1000+ emails i've deleted) I've averaged receiving 15 emails a day for the last 7 months. This includes weekends and doesn't include like I said a shitload of emails I've deleted.

Ehh .. send about 15-25 per day usually, Recieve around 100-200 ... ocassionally we'll get flooded with like 5000 messages in a couple of hours if some poorly written application is erroring and going bonkers...

Vary few. My day job is vehicle maintenance so I'm never on a company computer. When I'm working in the media (again entry level), they all use internal IM software to communicate.
