Ok, so I have been working out the most I have ever worked out in my college career. About 2-3 times per week, plus 2 soccer games per week. Now, I have not changed my diet much except for avoiding sweets. I have done this since January and I have not gained or lost a pound. Any explanation for this?

you're not training hard enough, or your diet is still wrong.

90% of losing or gaining weight is what and how much you put into your body

I think I have been working hard enough, I am sore atleast on a weekly basis and I have gone up a good amount of weight since January. I can understand that diet is important, but I would of imagined that I would see some weight fluxuation.

It is hard to gain weight while doing heavy cardio because you cannot consume enough calories. The two games of soccer a week (plus any running/biking you may do at the gym) are detrimental to gaining weight.

That doesn't mean that it's not healthy, of course. ;)

You said that you were sore on a weakly basis.
Try resting more.
Don't stress yourself while you workout too.

I have noticed a very very slight change in my waist but very slight pants still pretty much fit like normal.

I do arms and chest then legs then repeat, I figured that was enough time in between, what is the rationale behind resting more?

I am trying to gain weight, I am 5'9" @ 155 lbs. I would love to see a 10 lbs increase of actual muscle, cause I know I can go up 10 lbs drinking beer :)

Eat lots of protein, and keep working out like a mad man. Some might suggest cutting cardio, but cardio is healthy and good for you.
