So, I have a fairly recent work computer (with all the good enterprise software on it). It's an Elitebook with an i5-520M and 3GB of RAM.
Trying to figure out what is causing slowdowns on the computer, especially with certain websites. Certain websites run fine, such as anandtech and hardforum. However, certain websites will cause extremely laggy response, such as newegg and overclock.net. Even large wikipedia pages can become unresponsive. I'm assuming it has something to do with the scripts on the webpage and IE7, but is there anything I can do to make the computer work like it should. There's no reason why wikipedia should slow down the computer so much.
