Peace? Justice? George Bush doesn't even know the meaning of the language he uses, writes Bob Ellis

"Our quarrel is not with the Iraqi people", he means - or I think he means - we're going to bomb them to hell, real soon.

"We must be strong, and secure the peace", he means - or I think he means - we must, whatever others tell us, now go to war.

"liberating Iraq" really means seizing its oil and making a lot of money.

"George Bush is a man of peace" when they mean he'll go to war at the drop of a hat for no good reason and he's "routinely" bombing Iraqi "installations" every day.

When they say "regime change" they mean, or could mean, "Armageddon".

Are any of you kids actually capable of thinking for yourselves, or are you lost without someone to do it for you?

Our founding fathers thought that the people couldn't handle electing it's leader. No one wants to change the system because it has worked so well.

Isn't he part of a minority elected gov't?

I wonder why Duby gives his fans here so many chances to call other people mindless trolls :)

It's all on a War Agenda for big business like his old man's Carlyle Corporation and Halliburton and every oil company that imports from the Middle East. They make money and you pay for the war with your tax dollars. Get it?

Doesn't matter what Bush says.

exactly. tells me a lot about the ppl who voted for him. ;)

also this seems like a little strange democracy when he got elected but didn't get the majority of the popular vote. shouldn't that count as more in a democracy? i guess the founding fathers didn't trust the average joe to be smart enough eh?

but hey, if nothing else he makes a very easy target for jokes. the dude seems genuinely stupid.

Care to explain the logic behind that statement since during the Gulf War oil prices actually went down thus cutting into oil company profits?
