Word Subscripts - AutoCorrect

Is there a way to get Autocorrect in Word to convert something like H2S to H(sub2)S where (sub2) is actually a single-symbol subscripted 2?

I thought about using an ASCII symbol in the "Correct to" box. I was able to find one for superscript, but not for subscripts.

There is a macro available that can do what you are asking for.

If it's just something simple, like H2O, you can always select the 2 and press "Ctrl =" to subscript the 2. Using either method you'll still have to either select either the entire expression (for the macro) or the number (for the keyboard combo).
