Word problem?

I opened up a word document yesterday and for some reason it had gridlines throughout it. I had never had that on that document before. I went and looked at other documents and they all had them too. Now when I open up and start new documents in print view there is gridlines. What gives and how do I get rid of them???

Sounds like they might be drawing gridlines.

On the bottom of your Word, you may have a set of drawing tools.

Click Draw --> Grid

In the option menu that comes up, make sure that "Display Gridlines On Screen" is unchecked.

If you don't see a Drawing toolbar, go to "View" --> "Toolbars" --> "Drawing"

Click on View -- Toolbars -- Drawing. Click the Draw command -- Grid... Uncheck the box that says, "Display gridlines on screen." this was the answer.
