I'm having problems printing pictures with Word.
For convenience I "copied" them directly from a graphic's editing program
where I had edited them as .jpg's & set their width at about 7.8 inches.
I wanted each image to fill a regular sheet of paper.
They show up fine in the word document & in print preview, but when I print them
they appear as 1 little thumbnail on each page.
I don't think it would be the printer driver because I've tried 2 different printers &
a .pdf maker & the results are the same.
Should they be set to a specific PPI setting?
Would a .gif work better?
The file is 17mb with only 8 pictures so I don't believe the pictures are inserted as thumbnails.
Now if I try to copy the pictures from the document, they paste as a "scrap" object with no extension.
I figure this has something to do with OLE controls.😕
I tried finding an answer on Microsoft but no luck so far.
Thanks
edit: If it makes any difference, I'm running WinXP SP1, & the Word2000 installation does not have the service packs installed yet.
