There is never anything good. I never buy anything from a woot-off. I will still completely screw up my schedule and blow off work to keep track.

Basically, whenever there is anything good to buy, they only have a limited quantity and it gets taken by all those people that are watching the site like hawks.

So what's the deal with that anyways?
Basic idea is that most people get stuff you'll throw away... one person will get something crazy like a 60 or 70" HDTV - it was either a plasma or and LCD one time, don't really remember any details, but it's just like buying a lottery ticket, except time is a factor and so if you get in on it quickly, that matters because it'll be sold out very fast.

Edit: I did it once, got some random stuff like CDRW's.

to me, they look like they'd break in no time...but idk for sure, if it intersted me i'd do a bit of research as they're not goin' too fast; never know, they might be durable but at first glance they don't look it to me.

Here's a great auto-refresher with nothing to install:

Woot Auto Refresher

Does anyone have a link for the little appy that runs on your desktop that keeps track of the Woot off? I liked that one because you don't have to really have your browser open but I can't find it.

my fave so far. plays sounds at 20%, 10%, 5% and new woot at your choosing.

Still a little buggy, it seems. Gave me the spoken (instead of birds) for 20% while the slooooow moving poker game was at 16%.

Still ******, however.

That site didn't even load after 60 seconds. :(
