The Logitech X530 popped up for a few seconds before being replaced by the DVD recorder. Anyone had experience with those to tell me if it's worth the $39 shipped price when they show up again?

They sold out, but if you want them Amazon has them new for $48 shipped.

I wonder why woot sells radar detectors so often. They're pretty much obsolete against the new "instant on" radar and laser speed detectors, and they never sell out quickly.

LeakFrog .......are u kidding me?!
As the little amp was running out, somebody posted a comment about that.

"What's next, the damn Leak Frog again?"

Sure enough, there it was.

In places where basements might flood, those leakfrog things are apparently pretty cool. A co-worker bought 3 for his family, because their basements are prone to periodic flooding. If it gets wet, an alarm sounds.

But about those radar detectors. Those that have them are only fooling themselves with effectiveness, at least in most locales. In smaller towns, they might have older tech, and even some larger towns you have officers who drive around with their moving radar on and light your toy up like a Christmas tree. But for instant-on, laser and VASCAR systems, they are completely useless. By the time you react to the laser notification, you should probably just start pulling over.
