yeah... getting that alot.

The site is primarily geared to provide news and information for theatre artists in and around Seattle.

In my head the article works, in as much as each installment being a different way to save time or money. Will rarely post actual products (though I'll likely plug TiVo and/or netflix/blockbuster), so it doesn't really fit the "hot deals" site.

The gist from the beginning was provide some general tips and knowledge for folks that may not be uber-literate computer-wise.

Working on a couple more actor-specific things, with stuff like recipes for lunch to bring to rehearsals and what not. Hoping that it will fall more into place with the next couple of installments. It's quite a wide swath to attack with a single column, but hoping it can prove valuable.

Am I just smoking the grape-flavored crack again?

Now it's not the only one like it on the internet, but I've used the site for years and often turn to it when I get some strange chain letter in my inbox.

I particularly like the articles about viruses and spam, but I too was confused about their relationsihp with seattle actors.

I'm not going to claim that it's not a stretch. The point of the site is to provide actors, artists, etc. with a bunch of resources. As an actor myself, I'd love to get new headshots, take some voice lessons, dance classes etc., but always needing to watch my wallet. The column is there in the hopes that I can help lighten the financial burden on folks so they have more time and money for things they want to do. Truth be told, such an article (although a better one) could be posted just about anywhere. I consider it fairly universal, though I plug in a couple actor-specific things here and there.
