Woot woot i hit 4GHZ!!!

Interesting I have the same version of CPU-Z and mine says E8400 even though I have a E3110. His says E3110 in both spots. Very interesting... Maybe there's something to these we don't know? Can you post your VID please?

oh im sorry if i scared you.

No its not bad, i was mearly telling mark to help you in disabling it.

Sometimes your OC will pass with Speedstep because windows will boot at a lower clock freq.

You need to disable this to prevent this throttle, or energy saving feature to see if your overclock is solid.

I would imagine if he did any CPU stress testing CPU would kick into high gear mode anyway.

Thanks aigo !

The problem is, that with all those on, sometimes it hard to get and hold a stable OC (so I have heard) I never use them, since all mine are 100% load 24/7 so I don't need or want it.

whats 75?

Video card is GeForce 7950 GT passive.

His cpu temp is at 75c...and that's at or above the upper thermal limit for his cpu. In other words it's to hot...

OP...sweet OC but I agree...watch those temps and start your stress testing.

What are you talking about?

In his pic, CPU temp is 29C and core temps are 43/44C.

Definately need to stress test it though.

So what do you do with all that stuff Mark, try to contact aliens through SETI? 🙂

OP, are you reading everyone's comments? they're telling you to stress test, or else your OC is just you lying to yourself...

download prime95 v25.6 and run Small FFT's for 24 hours and Blend for 12 hours

Just curious, what is your voltage under load?

wrong.

If his chip heats up like during stress test, it will throttle down making him think he passed the stress test when he didnt.

You need to disable Speedstep, and EIST and then run the stress test again.

OTherwise im willing to bet your chip is throttling at those temps your showing on idle.
