Is anyone else getting weird rendering errors every so often with Woot? It seems the page only displays right once out of every four refreshes or something. I tried it on both my desktop and my laptop but it's the same. Gonna make it hard to snag a BOC...

love woot's description:

Reader Mail

Dear Woot.com Complaints Department,

I am an Aspire Dual Core 1.6Ghz/1GB Vista Home Premium PC. I have a respectable Intel Core Duo 2 E2140 1.6GHz Processor. I have 1GB of DDR2 RAM in a 2×512 configuration. I even have a 250GB SATA Hard Drive. But because I am a refurb, I suddenly become the butt of your jokes.

The idea of an Aspire Dual Core 1.6Ghz/1GB Vista Home Premium PC pulling himself up by his bootstraps is as old as this very nation itself. But those of us who?ve struggled hard to never fail are damaged by this stereotype, that all refurbs have had a hard past. Some of us were victims ourselves, you know. What if I was labeled defective by someone who wanted to upgrade under false pretenses? What if it was merely a loose wire that some old lady didn?t understand? What if it was part of a big scam to allow a return after ?All Sales Final? Day?

While it is true, some refurbs are involved with what is known as the ?shady? side of electronic life, some of us are regular joes, just like you. We have four USB ports, we have a 56k modem and Ethernet, we water our grass at night after work and we use Vista Home Premium to handle our built-in DVD+RW Double Layer Optical Drive before we tuck our beloved Mouse and Keyboard into bed. Who could object to that?

Your site is an excellent way to let the community see what good can be brought to the world by refurbs. Please do not take away from that with simple jokes.

Yours Sincerely,
Aspire Dual Core 1.6Ghz/1GB Vista Home Premium PC

I'm getting the same thing. What's going on besides that? It displayed the center speaker, then an MP3 player (w/o the woot-off bar & lights) then the speaker again, then this PC.

I'm confused.

I have both my desktop and my laptop on and when the Center speaker was showing as Sold Out on my desktop, I had the Creative Zen Micro showing on my laptop. But, the minute I went into Blog, it wasn't there, and back to the front page, and it's showing the center speaker as sold out again (on the laptop). Seems like woot's having uncontrollable issues or something... not fun. At least my woot refresher still works.

Which is a bit surprising. 512MB of RAM with Vista is practically criminal.

the content of the BOC's is crazy how it differs. It reminds me of watching Price Is Right and one contestant wins some $500 luggage, and the next person wins a new Ford Mustang.
