Well considering I don't have a phone book... what are those metal things? Did you buy them online or is it something you just found? Those look like they would work perfect for me.

I fergot!
I got me one of these: Tascam Portastudio
and this because it's an awesome recording amp (but it's on backorder)
Tascam CD Trainer Amp
Plus I picked me up a new condenser mic last week at GC. I should have my studio set back up in a couple of weeks.

What mic did you pick up? Also, picks of said studio when finished.![]()
On a side note, my next purchase are a pair of Rode NT-5 mics to be used primarily for my drum overheads. So damn expensive... but so nice.![]()

Does it make a lot of difference with those that they're down that low? I used some phone books to raise up my speakers at work.
It does because you aren't really getting the full sound. If you're at the point of "the triangle" you get the best sound obviously. I'm still trying to figure out what I can put under them to get them up to my ears height.
I've tried phone books

Well, I came up with a solution. Here's a start to it. In the process of adding more (9 per speaker). http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/2573/0227091626.jpg
