What is the smallest dart combination to win at 301? when you master that, you have my attention.;)

Can't do that, you have to finish on a double.
You can still do it in six darts though

60,60,60 first three
then 60, 25 2x18 to finish.

hmm...never played it that way but it's true. Didn't realize there were more rules to 301 than just getting down to 0 without busting

I have also seen some rules where you have to throw a double to start as well, although I never play those.
Professional darts players play using double to finish, although they play from 501.

you can play open in-open out where any number counts on start and finsh or double in-double out where you have to hit a double to start and a double to finish. This goes for 301, 501, and 701.
