WOOT!!! Lakers Beat the Kings 97/96...

im not a fan of either team, but Kobe just tore them apart at the end.
why was Bobby Jackson guarding him? shouda put Christie on him

From a someone that lives in Sacramento and a huge fan I wish I would have watched the game and not spent the day building this new computer. I sure wish I could get the BIOS to flash so I could use my new XP1600 on this board.....................GRRRRRRRRRR.

Down the stretch, they did put Christie on him. Kobe still knocked down a few clutch buckets.

It's actually kinda sad to watch the Lakers w/o Shaq clogging up the middle. They have no rhythm or offensive sets, they just give the ball to Kobe and try to set him a screen or two.

Not that he needs 'em. 😉

ya really. w/o shaq. it's really the kobe kobe show.

kobe choked tho on the last possesion. there is no way he shoulda let them trap him in the corner like that.

also, what happened to lakers spacing, kobe is trapped by 2 guys that far from the basket and no one is open?

Finally, as much as i think webber is a great player, he has to make that shot at the end. WTF, he still isn't the clutch player he should be.

Nice sarcasm. Why do you show up in threads about things you don't like, just to tell us how much you don't like them? You did the same thing in a NASCAR thread earlier. If you don't like the topic of the thread, don't click on it.

On to the topic at hand, sweet win for the Lakers, they needed it.

The Lakers had to overcome a lot to win this one, espcually Floppe Divflop, and his flop defense on Shaq. I am SO tired of Vlade Divac flopping and falling on the ground like a little baby. I swear, this guy spends more time on the floor than a rug. Is he so incapable of playing defense, that he must fall on the ground every time he is touched? He acts like he is hit by a truck when anyone gets near him. I wonder if he uses the flop in his everyday life? If he's arguing with his wife, and losing, does he fall on the ground? If the IRS audits him, does he flop on the ground when his accountant tells him? I can't believe that fool ever put on a Laker uniform.

If Shaq had even hit him most of the time, I could understand it. But Vlade flops when he isn't even touched. One time, Robert Horry got a great all-ball strip in Vlade, and Vlade flailed his arms and just fell on the ground. Pitiful.

yeah, but if webber hit that shot at the last second, I thougth it was going in. Also Kobe shouldve passed faster and known the clock on the last Laker posession.

Vlade is the biggest flopper/actor in the entire NBA, with Karl Malone and John Stockton coming close at 2nd and 3rd respectively.

count the times vlade flops and the number of times shaq lowers his shoulder and elbows into his opponents without gettin called and i think it'd be even

doesn't it seem like Webber was on something today? (or is he like that all the time...?)
he seemed to really SUCK that game...
