wOOt!!! Jarno Trulli on Pole!!!

michael is on harder compound... their plan is probably longer stints compared to the michelin runners... which has been the case at all races this year.

oh and schumacher is on the 2nd row... 😛 since ralf is demoted 10 places for an engine change on thursday...

Renault is doing great this year. Love the fact that its not just a battle of the big 3 (Ferrari, BMW-Williams, McLaren-Mercedes). McLaren is sucking it up with their new car, and well it doesn't seem like either of the Williams drivers care if they win or not.

Can't really call it a battle though with Ferrari dominating once again.

Well, personally I'd kinda like to see Schumacher win every race this season, it doesn't look like F1 will remain too much the way it has in a year or two, so something like this will be near impossible to achieve I think.

Trulli definitely deserves to be at the top of the podium, he's been having a hell of a year, same with Alfonso.

Should be an exciting race.

Light fuel load.

Regardless, it is damned near impossible to pass at Monaco and with Michael Schumacher starting in 5th he's going to have a tough time putting in the fast laps when he needs to in order to make up any time while the Renault is in the pits.

I would be surprised if the Ferrari is loaded down with much more fuel than anyone else, with the possible exception of Rubens Barrichello. It seemed like he was really loaded down with fuel. One stop for him perhaps?

Probably - they've been on different pit strategies all year. Usually Rubens get the short end of the stick though.

Why?

Isn't anybody interested in actual racing anymore?

I think the other teams have to be competitive first before any actual racing can occur... 😛 😉
