I got money from the IRS today! First time I've gotten a refund since 1990. A massive $110. Now, to decide what to do with this bounty.

Different job, same situation. Because of my second job, at which I make very little on the books, they don't take out squat in Federal tax...but at the end of the year, those $120 paychecks add up...and I've had nothing taken out in tax. I owe $376. Which isn't a lot...but it's a lot for me. I feel your pain. 🙁

I believe that money should go to the XZeroII computer fund. The money collected goes toward a worthy cause...upgrading my computer. Trust me, all of it goes to that one cause.

Besides Russ, don't spend it too early as the IRS may notice that $13,875 for long distance phone calls and letters to Jeri Ryan isn't a real business expense.

Normally I do. But, this was the first year that I wasn't sending them a check, so that puppy went in the mail the day my CPA finished it.🙂

It's your money that you were forced to save, but did not earn interest on.

Set up a 401k, once the shock of the first couple paychecks wears off you'll be amazed that not only are you forced to save money, you earn interest on it.

What a deal.
