WOOT I have no credit limit on my card

Damn,
that took me by surprise. I've had amex blue for the past two years and they bumped my credit from 2.5 to 10K. Then earlier thismonth i signed up for amex gold card and as it turns out, they sent me one with no pre-set spending limit. Craziness

When they say "no pre-set spending limit" they mean "we're not telling you what your limit is."

AMEX Blue = Credit card.

Any other AMEX = Charge card.

Credit card != Charge card.

amex gold reward is a charge it. I had it before for a year. it has a limit on it, but they just don't tell you. I was 20 when I had it.

yeah just found out there's real-time limit. Basically they monitor your purchases and deny you if you try to charge something that's unusuall for your spending patterns.

You need to spend 200K annually to qualify... most people that have those have them for businesss purposes
