no, if he efiled on jan 17th, this is the 2nd following friday which is the normal turnaround for direct deposit

the IRS is actually on a schedule, they don't just do stuff randomly, even though it might appear that way, at times

if he had gotten a refund loan, he would have gotten a check in < 48 hours

I made over 9000 this year......part time..........I think I wont get much of a refund...

Yep, I got mine this morning too. The really weird thing is that my state return showed up last friday, barely a week after I filed. Time to pay off all the bills once and for all

that's the site i used. Because i started in june my income was only $22k so i qualified for the free service.

Only $419 for federal. Have not received state yet ($370)

But that's because I increased my exceptions to like 9 in september after i realized I didn't want to let the govt borrow my money. My timing was off by a little I guess.

Still waiting for the end of year report from my brokerage. My excess payroll witholding will probably just cover taxes on interest, dividend, and capital gains income so no refund for me

id kinda worked on my taxes this morning, waiting one more W2 to come in the mail. I just did them too see how much i'll get back. With the W2 i had, i made around $14,000 but my refund is like $10 federal and $15 for state. When i get my last W2 in the mail. I'll ahve made like just over $15,000. Im not sure if I'd made a typo while doing my taxes online or if they pretty close to acurate. Id paid in over $1000 in federal taxes too.

I filed mine (standard e-file) on the 14th and got both State and Federal this morning.
