WOOT! Got a great deal on a laptop today!!!

Went down to my local Best Buy today to pick up some things for my trip to L.A. and I saw them unpacking some laptops that appeared to be open items. Among them was the vpr Matrix 180B5. For some reason this thing has been marked down to $999.99 and I was able to get it for $849.99 with another $100 off after a mail-in rebate for the open box. Not too bad for a P4 1.8/512MB/30GB/DVD-CDRW/15" XGA/Integrated 802.11b that weighs around 6lbs!

I was pretty happy with myself when all was said and done. Unfortunately it didn't require any bartering skills to get the price so I can't sondier myself a ferengi quite yet but I'm working on it.

On another note if either one of you technology whores wants to buy a 19" LCD I've got one available.
