If you are living alone and have no family to support, it will be more than enough for a good life style for any recent college grad. Will be even better if you are okay living outside of manhattan (which I wouldn't recommend).

not bad at all despite a potential $2k monthly rent if you're by yourself. If you're in Manhattan, you basically live in bars/clubs because you won't have a car to get out of the city.
