GO FORSBERG AND PREMEIU!!!!!!

If Foresburg stays healthy and Hatcher can adjust to the new rules........ the Flyers could be flying [no pun intended 😉]

I hope we beat the Coyotes tonight.......... but knowing the Gretzky factor...... we may lose. He seems to like making records when playing the Canucks 🙁

two questions about the new rules:

1. Whats up with the goalie restriction on where he can go to collect the puck? How he can't go into the corners, what does that achieve? Whats the point of that?

2. Does anyone get credited the goal in a shootout win?

1. Goalie is only allowed to play the puck in the little trapzoid behind the net (also anywhere in front of the goal line)......... this allows for more chances for attacking teams to gain control of the puck in the offensive zone.

2. I am not sure if they will count it. But I think they will not...... since whatever team wins the shoot out will only win by 1 goal...... no matter how many goals are scored by their team.

1. It stops him from getting the puck and getting out of his zone faster. Also players can not check a goalie. So by them being restricted to playing only that small area in their zone in helps the forcheck

2. I don't think so. I know the shootout does not count against the goalie's stats. So I would imagine it would not count for a F/D stats.

Well I'm gonna hope for the best, a good season for the NHL, return of most of the fans, more scoring, more exciting game.

and a Sharks Stanley Cup Win!

By the time the playoffs comes around Legace will be the #1 guy. Ozzie will be his back up. Also you beat Ozzie in net with St. Louis not Detroit. The Wings are way better then the Blues.
