Firstly screw you. 😉

Secondly, that is a damn good deal and they tend to be short lived. USB drives are pretty desired on this forum and when there is a good deal everyone tries to get one. Even if they don't need one.

EDIT: and thirdly, quit stalking me in threads. I know you are upset that I moved away, but we had to move on.

Pretty good, I picked up an 8gb pny from staples for 30 bucks a few weeks ago.. amazing that 20-30 bucks is 8 gigs now and companies use 256-512 guys as free keychains and stuff..

How would this work as a readyboost device? My HTPC only has 2gb of ram (darn expensive DDR1 prices) so I was thinking of adding a flash drive but I'm not sure if the benefit is worth even this low price.

Anyone know?

Kingston does not list this model as being ReadyBoost compatible but people are reporting luck with it, it just depends on what chips they got the day your stick was assembled. Vista will test the drive when you activate it and tell you whether or not it's really good enough.

Also, ReadyBoost will use no more than 4GB so getting an 8GB device for it is kind of a waste.
