transcend is a great memory company imo. had a flash drive from them that withstood a lot of abuse before it got stolen (had it for 1.5 years). I'm using a transcend 1gb micro SD in my R4DS flashcart, and have had very good success.

I think they are either out or on the verge of being out. Only problem is you need a device that supports SDHC. For example, the Motorola Q can handle up to a 2gb MicroSD, but not anything beyond that.

It should work using the adapter. Note that the Wii does not currently support SD cards over 2GB. Thus this card should work, but it is not necessarily correct that "any" regular size SD card will work.
