Stop lying, why no pics of the real thing? I swear I have never seen a board with more e-braggarts in my life. Your rich friend with a Bentley should have loaned you a camera.

Yuppp, absolutely ridiculous. It's as if they planned on making a coupe and then scared it up 1.5:1. The proportions are nuts .... it's got 16.5" carbon ceramic brakes.

He works for C&D, I didn't take any pics - he brings nice stuff over all the time... last time we went cruising in Audi R8 rtronic

Call me crazy, but I like the lines of the Continental GT much better.

Meh, neighbor had one at my old apartment building. They're alright, little too cuvey for a coupe. That design works a lot better on the flying spur imo.

One of only 550 that will ever be built and one of just two in the United States right now (the other is parked at Manhattan Motorcars in New York City), the Brooklands I drove is the most expensive and rare vehicle in Bentley's lineup. It has a base price of $340,990, though this one was optioned up to $391,465 with items like 20-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels; an interior comprised entirely of Burnt Oak leather hides, Burr Walnut wood veneers and chromed stainless steel; and the world's largest carbon ceramic disc brakes.
So where does the Brooklands justify its tax bracket-busting price? The mechanicals. Under the long hood lies the famous hand-built V8 engine from Crewe. The fundamental architecture of the Brooklands's 6.75L twin-turbo V8 dates all the way back to 1959. It grew to its current displacement in 1969, and the first turbo was added in 1982. Twin turbos arrived in 2002, while a reprofiled camshaft and new low-inertia turbos were added last year. In the Arnage this engine produces 500 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. With some additional tweaks it produces 550 horsepower and 774 pound-feet of torque in the Brooklands, which Bentley claims is the most torque produced by any V8 engine in the world. And there's no pilfering from the parts bin of parent group VW/Audi here. The motor's lineage is pure to the brand and cannot be questioned.
I don't know, I'm not feeling the Brooklands. If I have the money for a Bentley, I would go w/ the Continental GT Speed. Now that thing's a beauty.

It's NYC. Everyone lives in apartments.

Edit: I don't get the cynicism here. It's not like halik said he owns the car. Even his friend doesn't own the car, he's just with an organization that gets access to cars like this.

I'd love an Arnage R. Big turboed V8, classy lines.

Jeremy Clarkson had one on Top Gear, looked like a whole lot of fun.

Because in some cities, apartments are more expensive than houses.

Wonder how much they will knock off of $391,465 for some lucky buyer for wear and tear when they eventually sell that beast? Must not have been a lot of interest in anyone actually owning one, if there are only 2 out of 550 in the USA and ones a loner and the others gathering dust in a dealership. I agree with Baked on the Continental GT statement, for about the same scratch.

The pukey color is also SICK, as in sick in a bad way. That nasty pasty whiteish tan color would be at the bottom of my desired color list, followed only by Mary Kay pink. What a nasty vomit color for such an elegant car. I sure hope they don't paint 550 of them like this, ugh. First thing I would do with an ugly paint job like that is have a slick custom paint job applied to it. That looks like a color some tasteless British bureaucrat would drive, unless that was the idea.
