Remember my thread about the financial analyst intern at a mortgage company?

I got a call back from the HR!!! She asked me what salary I would like to get, and also when I can start.

So it is not 100% yet, but I am guessing that it is a good thing! or is it?

Ooh, good luck. I have a friend working in PWC as an auditor. He loves it and gets paid good money. 🙂

nice !@ Go for $10/hr. That's how much I made interning at HSBC one semester doing web testing... so it's not out of the question. I thought it was overly generous of them... all I really wanted was their name.

Buffalo... their headquarters.

Most internships (undergrad) don't pay at all so that was my gauge. I didn't know about MBA - oops. Anyway, Buffalo is a low-cost-of-living area so I was shocked to get more than $6/hr, much less $10.

what type of mba is it, the one you do when you are about 22 or when you have a few years experience?

what depts do they have on offer, if you want to be a wall street trader push for the collateralisation or what ever dept sells the mortgage pools off in MBS securities, then try and get some contacts if u can.
