some guy went selling it at my uncles place of business, so my uncle gives me a call and tells me there's some guy there selling a 17 inch dell 1702FP lcd for 250 bucks brand new in its box. i promptly make my uncle dish out the 250 and jet to his house. i set it up this morning and have been testing it all day, there is no ghosting or any slowdown in games that i can tell(tried Q3,UT,NFS5),same with divx and other videos. all i can say is im never going to use a crt EVER again,btw cleartype rocks.

Some people are just stupid. My friend needed a 19" monitor(or at least wnated one) and posted a request in a local newsgroup. Some guy says he will give one to me for 50 bucks. I expect it too be horrible, but it is a quality ADI monitor. Turns out it made a clicking noise, bugged his wife, so she made him sell it fast. Brought it home and hasn't made a sound for 6 months. I think it just wasnt plugged in the whole way.
 
i has this terribly 17 monitor by maxtech and the geometry was all screwed up and it was dark and there was a laundry list of things wrong with it. sold it to my friend for $20 and it works perfectly for him....

btw- you should have sold the monitor for $600 and grabed a 19" for 800 😀 $450 sweet monitor
