Wooohooo! We are going to USGP!
Wanted to goto a Formula 1 GP since I was a kid ... now I am going to take my son (he will be 10 months then) ... hopefully we will make this trip every year ...
Parking Spot for both days: check
Qualifying Day Tix: check
Race Day Tix: check ...... I had to pay $85 for my 10 month old son - :Q
Motel: check .... boy they are gouging real bad ... everything booked for the june 18th weekend even 50 miles out of the city
spent a whole day to find something ..called up every motel / B & B - all booked or over what we can afford .... paying $100 for a night for a room which is usually 34.99
Now to buy sound protection for us and the kid ... and ferrari stuff .... because of the baby had to buy tix in covered areas . .so we are sitting right in front of the podium / start finish line / pit lanes ... all on striaghtway .. so we will miss the turns and braking
oh well .. very happy .... I am a contented man today ....
