Stay on top of your water balances. You have to check it every week. Keeping the watet balanced and clean is very important.

That has been photoshopped. I can tell by the pixels.

congrats, and enjoy! I know when we spent a week in the smoky mountains last winter, we used the hot tub on the deck often!! in Florida it seems like a waste, its already a sauna outside.

Scoob, looks like you have a thing for the chicks. Or is that a squash hanging out of your pocket?

LOL - too funny. That extra "appendage" in my shadow is the soft camera bag that I shoved into my pocket (obviously not all the way) before hopping up on the deck rail.

soulcougher: I can't take credit for building the deck - I hired a contractor to do it 😉

Could you post or pm me how much your contractor billed you? Im in a similar situation except i have a full deck that must come down

Can you set it into the deck? Having it on top of the deck isn't the classiest thing in the world

???

Why not.. its where it belongs. Sinking them into the deck is just asking for trouble when you need to replace parts. I think it looks perfect there.

Awesome deck Scoob! i wish i had one but i live in a condo.

btw, do you live in the northeast US? the trees, mountain backdrop, blue skies look like PA or MD...
