I must be, since Bore's plan would give me exactly $0.00 of my money back.

Then again Gore is such a freegin liar, he will probably take more money from us instead of a tax cut.

Right now, I'd get $306 from Bush, ZERO from Gore.

If I get married and we file separately (she owns a small business), I guesstimate we'd get $1114 from Bush, ZERO from Gore.

Filing jointly, $778 from Bush, $210 from Gore. (Finally)

(All calcs figure standard deductions and no charitable giving for simplicity sake)

We wouldn't be rich by a long shot IMO, so where does Gore get off telling the Big Lie about tax cuts? Hmmmm?

Looks like most people already have their tax break from Gore. I would have never guessed that there were no middle class people in the forums here.

My roommate would actually save almost $700 with the Bore plan, while Bushlite would only save him about $225. The difference is that he has paid for his own health insurance for most of the year.

The Bore plan seems to help a lot of people who definitely need it (those paying for their own health care, and those caring for relatives), but Bushlite's seems to reach a lot more. Personally, I'd like to see a blend of the two of them, but I know that is not going to happen.

It is a bit ironic, though, that Bore keeps accusing Bushlite of only cutting taxes on the rich, yet Bushlite's plan is the one that actually gives a tax cut to the working poor (though admittedly very little).

Unfortunately, bth candidates' plans suck.
Bush gives out taxcuts like santa claus. Gore gives out entitlements like a fairy.
Both blow the surplus one way or another.
Neither wants to tighten the belt and pay down the debt. You do the math. 70k/family. If you had a 70k credit card debt, and some extra money in your savings account, what would you do? If you don't pay down the debt when you have money to spare, you are going to be paying forever just to cover the interest.

Id get $300 under Bush's plan, 0 under Gores. What, does Gore think middle class is sub $20k a year? LOL. Sure Bush's plan give lots to that "1%" but gives alot more to the other 99% than Gore does...

Red Dawn,

You are missing the point of this thread. This is just another instance of of Gore making a promise with no plans to keep. When you add up all the programs he wants to implements, we are talking another 2.2 trillion in spending. This tax cut of his was only supposed to for the middle class, but it looks like everyone on this board is rich and is not getting squat from his cut. Does gore even know when he lies anymore?

<< Yeah, what makes you think Dick Cheney would do a good job? How many situations did he Broker for Peace during Papa Bushes Regime?? I know that we had two major military actions during the 4 years Papa Bush was in charge >>

Yeah, and how many situations did Gore broker for peace (let alone made stick) personally during his vice-presidential reign? Are we to assume that he'll stick to Clinton's "major military action" plan of bombing Saddam every time he get's caught in a lie? I'm already starting to feels sorry for Saddam............
