Just got my modem last night and hooked it up today. Pulling better speeds than I was with DSL.

No contracts, $35 per month, decent speeds = sweet!

You will be able to purchase XOHM-ready products in areas all around Baltimore. I'm from Columbia, Maryland - I plugged in my zip code into the XOHM main page (http://www.xohm.com/), and XOHM is already available there (20 minutes outside of the city). The XOHM website is a good place to check whether or not XOHM has reached your area. I?m currently working with XOHM, so if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

Bell Canada has WiMax available over a good chunk of Canada, 178 cities in fact. $55/mo for 2mbps though.

I just got this (in Bmore) and I'm loving it so far. Averaging 2-4Mbps (I'm in the outskirts of the range).

i just went into Best Buy (Arundel Mills) today to pick up the XOhm modem, but apparently Best Buy no longer stocks anything XOhm. does anyone know if any B&M places still stock XOhm hardware?
