you twins fans talk alot of trash for being 1-3 in the last four games with the A's

And we rightfully can. Wether or not Red Dawn wants to face it, the Twins may play in a weak division, but the Twins have won this year's series with the Angels and the Mariner's. We sweep this series with the A's and we take that series too. Meanwhile, Red, if you look at the expanded standings, you will see that a fair share of the AL West teams' wins came from the AL central. They benefited BETTER from the AL Central than the Twins have. The Twins have only been swept TWICE this season.........the A's and the Yankees. The A's get their medicine tonight and tomorrow. The Yanks will get theirs in post season.

Correction, I forgot about being swept by the Orioles.

Wouldn't that be ironic?

Oh, it is expected and they intend to do it. There is no irony here!

I went to game 1 of the '91 series, and lost my part-time job (I was 21 at the time, and in my senior year of college) by skipping out of work for all of the remaining games - those were the days! Any true fan can't help but be excited about the success of the small-budget Twins and A's this year.

And to think, only weeks ago Selig was saying the twins success "didn't change anything" as far as contraction goes. Good thing they got that whole strike thing worked out. It would have been a huge downer to see the twinkies play so well and not be able to play in the playoffs.

Selig is seeing the handwriting on the wall. His own damn team has one of the worst records this season. Their new stadium with a fancy roof that doesn't work isn't drawing any more crowds than the old one. Instead of a new stadium, let's get a new owner. One with a pair of balls!

dude, you're delusional. the A's are leading by one, what are you going to say when they win? that they cheated? not saying the Twins arent a good team, i jus think how you have die hard confidence in them is ridiculous and self delusional
