Are you kidding me? Everything is about communications now. Cellular data, wifi, virtualization of the network and data centers, broadband, etc. And as consultants we are the ones telling you how to do it.

lulz, my meter's broken.

What do you do?
Consulting.
But what do you do?
I tell people what to do.
So you don't do anything?
No, I consult. I don't actually "do" anything. That's the beauty of it!

Does anyone else here see their job on this list?

my job is nowhere near that list, but my job is training number two on the list how to use their systems, as well as designing, implementing and maintaining their cool DCS and SCADA systems. its a thankless job.

i was really surprised to see number 10 at the bottom of the list instead of # 2 or 3. i figured it would be security and IT analyst in 2 and 3 spots.

I work as a systems "engineer". But, I don't really call myself that. Thats too important sounding for what I do.
