Heh, how much videos do you d/l? I see no reason to get anything faster using 1.5MB + FireFox speed hack for regular web surfing and forum neffing. $20/month, I'm hella set. Getting 400KB for ftp upload.

optimum online has about 10mbps. i pay $90/month for tv+cable+phone (each being 29.95)

Opera has had the "speed hack" for... like forever.

I think there was a registry setting you could modify to do it in IE too. Not sure though.

Exactly. If the cable company offered some sort of discount plan with less prices and not their hyped up 6meg download, I'd be all over it. As of right now once my wife's company stops paying for our internet I'll probably dump it and go to cheap DSL since it's plenty for web browsing and such.
