Hey guys,

Well first let me say thank you for all the great advice. I haven't pushed my system to its max yet just because i want to be safe :).. anyway here is my O/C

Amd64 3000+ @ 2430Mhz 9x270
did this with a 166:200 mem divider, everything is a STOCK volts i upped nothing. it primed for 16 Hrs with no errors and 2M Super Pi no errors!. Idle temps = 35 C under load = 45 C
For my first time ( and not wanting to kill anything :) ) i feel i did pretty good. Thanks for everything

You popped your OC cherry! LOL. I remember my first overclock...I was so nervous...and such a rush. I think I stayed up most of the night testing it and seeing how far I can push it.

My first OC was a dissapointment. I can't get my 3000+ to go over 1900mhz. I have no idea why.

My P3 Celeron however was easy. Went from 1000mhz to 1250mhz.

Yep, my first one was when I built a PIII-650 and got it up to 800 MHz where it ran like a tank.... still does.

Heh...I remember my first OC.

P4 1.6 @ 2.2 :D

Great job on the OC...looks like you got a great chip. If you raise the CPU voltage to 1.5V, you should be able to get 9x300. But that's up to you. ;)
