Woohoo! My Dad came home with an RX8 last night!

Brand new red 6-speed RX8 with just about every upgrade available including the 6 disk changer and navigation system (which is really cool). It's such an awesome car. It revs very high and the rotery engine sounds quite different than a regular engine.

Edit: Oh yeah, this is the 3rd red mazda we own now. We also have a red Mazda 6 and a reciently repainted red Miata.

Yeah, I know! I wanna go on a road trip just to play around with the navigation thingy. I know GPS is nothin new nowadays but this is the first time I've actually got to play w/ one and I'm still fasinated as to how it knows all the street names! lol.....

You should be gentle with any new engine. There are little pieces of metal floating around in the oiluntil the first change, and could lead to a shorter life. Take it easy change oil at about 1000-1500 then use mobil synthetic for the cars life.

why would they put on a defective oil filter at the factory?
