I'll be Interning this summer at a major defense contractor, in an IT Development Program.

Salary: $2,212.00 bi weekly

I'm a Junior CIS major at Bentley College (MA).

I'm very excited...my previous internship paid $12/hr.

A friend who worked the same internship last year said he did just about 40 hours per week.

Not too shabby.

Yes, that is of course before taxes. I should still take home about 8k I would think.

Interestingly enough, one of the idioms of English is that you can't quite tell what 'biweekly' means. Though in the context of pay, it should be pretty obvious...


Anyway, congrats on the internship. Hopefully you'll like your job, and not just the amount it pays 😉

Take home for the 10 weeks should be about $8k.
