2002 Ford Escape XLT. Just picked it up on tuesday. Saved a couple grand because my uncle works for Ford. I'm so excited, I've never had a new car before!

Yeah, but it's a small price to pay to once again have a reliable vehicle. My '91 Geo has problems.

Well, at least you picked one that gets reasonable mileage.

Yeah, the salesman was trying to talk me into a 2WD Explorer Sport for the same price. I said no dice buddy.

Nice color choice SpongeBob, remember, it's a new car so go easy during the break-in period 🙂

Nice Ride. Congratulation!!!

There is nothing like washing and waxing your own new car. Taking care if it and keeping it clean will probably become a habit.

and i feel bad when my v6 eclipse gets 25mph instead of 28mpg...

I think it was tested as being marginal.

True though, an AWD car would have better crash charecteristics (unless hit by a large SUV or truck that overrides the safety features).

<< Just dont get in a wreck in that... *cough* bad crash test *cough* >>

What another "Car Meets Cement Wall" test? Those are BS. you hit a cement wall you shouldn't be on the road anyway.
